Well, I finally got a pretty good 8 point buck here in Franklin County, Virginia this year. He was in rut and chasing several does when I got him. My son was with me at the time which made it pretty special. I only wish he could have gotten a shot at him. He was a little too far away for the open sites he was using through the woods for him to get a clean shot.

Well, I have not posted on here in quite a while, so I thought this would be a good way to start. Our buddy Dale got this nice 8 point buck in Franklin County on the opening day of muzzle loader season. That's not a bad way to start off the year. Hope we can keep it going.
